CTD for CAP 06-23(I), “Expiration of FTR Bulletin 22-07”This item removes certain provisions from the JTR which implemented Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) Bulletin 22-07, “Relocation Allowances – Extended waiver of certain Federal Travel (FTR) provisions during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.” The bulletin temporarily waived certain provisions of the FTR governing official relocation travel and renewal agreement (RAT) travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. FTR Bulletin 22-07expired effective December 31, 2022.1/24/2023
UTD for MAP 03-23(R) Moody AFB, GA (GA081) Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE) ExtensionThis item reinstates the Moody AFB Military Housing Area (MHA) GA081 as a location to receive an extended Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE) under the authority in 37 U.S.C. § 452. Due to the lingering effects of the pandemic, installations are experiencing a housing shortage, which is extending the time period for incoming personnel to find housing. This item reinstates the Moody AFB Military Housing Area (MHA) GA081 as a location to receive up to 60 days TLE.1/26/2023
UTD for MAP 97-22(R), Vandenberg SFB CA TLE ExtensionUnder JTR, par. 050601-B3, the Air Force requested a TLE extension for Vandenberg AFB (CA026) military housing area (MHA) because it has determined that the MHA is experiencing a housing shortage that prevents Service members from obtaining adequate permanent Government-owned, Government-controlled, privatized or private-sector rental housing.1/31/2023

UTD for MAP 94-22(R) Edwards AFB/Palmdale CA (CA457) TLE ExtensionUnder JTR, par. 050601-B3, the Air Force requested a TLE extension for Edwards AFB/Palmdale, CA (MHA CA457) because it has determined that the Military Housing Area is experiencing a housing shortage that prevents Service members from obtaining adequate permanent Government-owned, Government-controlled, privatized or private-sector rental housing. The authority for action is 37 U.S.C. § 452, which permits an extension of TLE in locations where the President has declared a major disaster area under Section 401 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. § 5170 et. seq.).2/14/2023
UTD for MAP 12-23(I) Clarify Re-delegation AuthorityThis item adds language to JTR, Table 3-2.1, clarifying the re-delegation authority for the Combatant Commands. The Combatant Commander may be re-delegate no lower than a two-star or civilian equivalent.2/15/2023
