UTD for MAP 90-22(R) Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME (NH194) Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE) ExtensionUnder JTR, par. 050601-B3, the Navy requested to reinstate a TLE extension for the Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME military housing area (MHA) because it has determined that the MHA is experiencing a housing shortage that prevents Service members from obtaining adequate permanent Government-owned, Government-controlled, privatized or private-sector rental housing.12/29/2022
UTD for MAP 16-23(S), Transportation Reimbursement for Armed Forces Members Assigned to AlaskaThis is a statutory (S) item implementing a mandatory provision of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. Section 603 of the FY23 NDAA directs the Secretaries of the Armed Forces to reimburse eligible Armed Forces members the cost of airfare from the member’s permanent duty station (PDS) to their home of record when they are assigned to a PDS in Alaska and travel is authorized by an Officer above the grade of O-5.12/23/2022
