UTD for MAP 83-24(I), Clarify Local Emergency Displacements and Correct the Level of Authority to Authorize a Local Emergency Displacement from a Foreign Location	This item clarifies and corrects information published in UTD for MAP 02-24-(R), “Evacuation Allowances for Local Emergency Displacements”. Therefore, JTR, Table 6-3 has been changed to list the administering authorities as the Secretary of Defense, Secretary concerned, Head of the Component (or his or her designee), Commander of the installation or the Coast Guard District Commander, or Commander, head, chief, or supervisor of the organization or office. Further, JTR, par. 060101-C has been changed to reflect that the Service member or dependents may be ordered to vacate housing due to a local emergency displacement.
