The Joint Travel Regulations have contained travel policies applicable to both Service members and DoD Civilians since October 2014. Older versions of the JTR are applicable to DoD Civilians only.
Policies in the Joint Federal Travel Regulations apply only to Service members. Publication of the JFTR ended in October 2014 when it was merged with the Joint Travel Regulations.
